The British Council

Technical schools in Northern Cyprus are an under-developed and under-appreciated resource. On behalf of the British Council, Beyond Standards has helped to introduce regular self-assessment to focus the schools' own improvement effort and investments made by the State. The programme has involved development of a quality framework with school heads and testing in a school under the guidance of Beyond Standards consultants.

The British Council is the UK's cultural partnership organisation, aiding technical and vocational education worldwide. Beyond Standards has worked with the Council in Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Yemen, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Turkey, Serbia, Croatia, and China. Beyond Standards services have included facilitation of workshops, conference addresses, country reports and training.
