Further education in Northern Ireland has been radically reformed over the past five years. Its former 16 colleges have been consolidated into six. Many of its learning programmes have been revised. Beyond Standards worked with the Department of Employment and Learning and its partners in government to reflect these changes in delivery in better organisation, administration and quality assurance.
